Supporters of the Democratic socialist candidate for New York’s 14th congressional district did not seem sure who would pay for the various free services the candidate proposed, when asked Thursday.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, 28, defeated incumbent Democratic Rep. Joe Crowley of New York in a June primary upset, but her supporters could not provide certain crucial details about the implications of her policy proposals, according to a video released by Campus Reform.

“I’ve heard only positive things,” “We love her,” and “It’s a breath of fresh air,” made up some of the responses people in Ocasio-Cortez’s district gave when asked about the candidate.

Respondents also answered in the affirmative when the interviewer asked whether they agreed with the candidate’s proposed free health care, free housing, free college tuition and a minimum living wage. But statements provided became a bit less definitive when the individuals were asked who would pay for these services.

“Us, I guess,” answered one person.

“Some of it should come from taxes, but the government should pay for it,” said another. (RELATED: Government Spends Over $3 Million To Stop ‘Microaggressions’ And ‘Lack Of Diversity’)

“I don’t know where the money would come from, but they can figure it out,” a third person said.

Yet another mentioned taxing the one percent.
